A&D Precision is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineer will with work with the assembly team and our customers through the new product introduction process through production phases.

 

Responsible for creating tailored recommendations based on each individual customer’s needs including design evaluation, identifying any technical issues and offer design for manufacturability. Insure satisfaction through all phases of the design, production, delivery, and product implementation process.

 

Ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships with key decision makers at various levels within customer organizations.

 

The Manufacturing Engineer will also focus on ways for quality improvement, cost saving, lead time reduction, enhanced feature design, safety, and on-time delivery improvement suggestions.

 

Primary Job Functions:

 

1. Manage the assembly floor, including managing the assembly team along with upholding A&D’s ISO and quality standards insuring efficiency and constantly seeking was for continuous improvement providing cost savings for our clients. Including improving quality, discovering areas for cost savings, lead time reduction, design improvements, safety and on-time delivery improvement for production.

2. Assist in the growth and development of existing and new accounts by establishing strong relationships, learning more about the client’s needs and how A&D can help meet and exceed their manufacturing requirements.

3. Work with the sales and quoting team create proposals for new projects.

 

Job Requirements:

 

1. Bachelors in engineering, manufacturing or related field and/or relevant experience

2. Exceptional project management skills including the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

3. Strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication and problem solving skills

4. Working knowledge of Solidworks- Mastercamm a plus

5. Prior manufacturing experience (at least 3 years) in manufacturing, machining and/or assembly

6. Must be a team player and be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
