Logistics Clerk/Driver

Job Summary:

 

The Logistics Clerk/Driver supports the shipping, receiving, kitting, inventory control and vehicle operation functions of the Company.  The Logistics Clerk/Driver takes day-to-day direction from the Logistics Supervisor.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • At the direction of the Logistics Supervisor, maintains shipping, receiving, kitting and inventory control processes and operations.

  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Logistics area and equipment. 

  • Make daily deliveries to customers and pick up

  • May be designated a primary or backup forklift operator by the Logistics Supervisor.  Must be certified to operate forklift if so designated.

  • Assumes additional responsibilities at the direction of the Logistics Supervisor.

 

Job Qualifications:

 

  • Professional attitude and demeanor with a service oriented ethic.

  • Valid driver’s license, excellent driving record and habits

  • (Driving record will be verified).

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Certification by the Company to operate a forklift (if so designated).

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and up to 75 lbs. rarely.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
